Dubs Stars help Launch St Michaels "Santa Swim"..

St. Michaels House, Irelands largest provider of community-based services for people with an intellectual disability has teamed up with Dublin City Council and Swim Ireland to launch the second annual Santa Swim in an attempt to pack Santas sleigh with educational and sporting equipment for St. Michaels House in time for Christmas. Last Saturday, on a perfect day for football nearly 900 mothers, sisters and daughters came out in force to sunny Portmarnock to take part in the National Gaelic4Mothers Blitz Day. It was with great pride that the student teachers and staff of Coláiste Mhuire, Marino Institute of Education welcomed the Brendan Martin Cup and Dublin goalkeeper Clíodhna O Connor to the College on Monday 11th October. The occasion was particularly relevant to the college as one of their second year students, Niamh Mc Evoy, lined out for the Girls in Blue during the All-Ireland final.
