Dublin vs Mayo.
Newly appointed managers Paul Casey and Derek Murray have announced their team to take on Mayo this Saturday in the opening round of the Lidl NFL.
With a number of seasoned players unavailable for these early stages of the league Casey and Murray have handed several players an opportunity to showcase their skills against Mayo. The competition for places is high amongst the evolving squad with a number of young and emerging players named in Saturdays match day squad.
Katie Moran Tighe, Dublin minor goalkeeper in 2024 and Sophie McIntyre a member of last season’s Dublin U20 squad are set to make their senior NFL debuts this Sunday while O’Dwyers Captain Aoife Curran makes a welcome return to the senior set up having previously won an All-Ireland with the Dubs in 2017.
Match referee, Maggie Farrelly from Cavan will get proceedings underway in Parnell Park at 2pm. The game will be streamed live by the LGFA via 247.Tv (fee). Click this link for more information STREAMING LINK
