Dublin v Meath

The Leinster minor championship gets underway this coming weekend with Dublin welcoming neighbours Meath to the capital for their opening round fixture. Elsewhere in the Minor A championship Longford take on Kildare (Saturday March 1st).

Dublin’s starting fifteen for this Sundays encounter with the Royal County includes several players such as Katie Hayes, Lile Tully and Níadh Mooney who gained valuable experience competing at this grade last season.

Charlie Murphy from Ballyboden St Endas steps up from her role as vice-captain last season to lead the Dubs in 2025. Adding to the mix within the squad are nine players who will be representing their County for the first time. Another indication of the great coaching and development work going on at grass roots level across the County.

In total twenty-one clubs are represented on the Dublin minor panel of 2025, thirteen northside (nine of whom are Fingal based) and eight southside clubs. We wish them and their management team lead by Declan Patton all the very best of luck for the season ahead.
